IMPLEMENTATION & ONBOARDING

Start with your team’s way of working.

Getting started involves more than creating an account. It means deciding how your team will organise records, share responsibility and manage access. LitDesk supports self-onboarding and assisted onboarding around that setup.

Two professionals reviewing a setup checklist together.

A practical path from setup to everyday use.

  1. Understand the starting point

Identify who will use the workspace, the kinds of matters you handle and the workflows you want to establish first.

  2. Configure the organisation

Set up the organisation and team, define permissions and review the relevant notification and workflow settings.

  3. Prepare the working records

Review the contacts, active matters and documents needed for your initial use. Agree how existing information will be added before beginning any migration work.

  4. Walk through a real workflow

Use a representative matter to review document handling, task assignment, hearing preparation and any party-facing publication steps.

Questions about getting started.

Can we get started ourselves?

LitDesk includes customer self-onboarding. Assisted onboarding is also part of the product approach; discuss the scope of assistance appropriate to your requirements.

Will all our existing data be imported automatically?

Do not assume automatic migration from every system or file format. Existing data should be assessed for format, completeness and suitability before a migration approach is agreed.

How long does implementation take?

The timing depends on your team, configuration and existing-data requirements. Agree the scope and expected timeline after reviewing your starting point.
